X-Ray Imaging
Fast, accurate bone and chest imaging using advanced digital radiography with immediate results and expert interpretation.
What is an X-Ray?
X-ray imaging is one of the oldest and most commonly used medical imaging techniques. It uses a small amount of radiation to create images of the inside of your body, particularly bones and dense tissues. X-rays are quick, non-invasive, and provide immediate diagnostic information.
Our facility uses state-of-the-art digital radiography (DR) technology, which produces high-quality images with lower radiation doses than traditional film X-rays. Digital images can be viewed immediately and easily shared with your physician.

Digital Imaging
State-of-the-art digital X-ray technology delivers instant, high-quality results.
Advantages of Digital X-Ray
- Immediate image viewing — no film processing
- Lower radiation exposure than traditional X-rays
- Superior image quality and detail
- Fast procedure — typically 5-10 minutes
- Images easily shared electronically with physicians
- Environmentally friendly — no chemical processing
- ACR-accredited for safety standards
- Walk-in appointments welcome
Common X-Ray Examinations
We perform X-ray imaging for a wide range of diagnostic purposes:
- •Bone fractures and breaks
- •Chest X-rays (lungs, heart)
- •Joint problems (arthritis, dislocations)
- •Spine and back injuries
- •Dental and facial bones
- •Abdominal conditions
- •Sports-related injuries
- •Foreign object detection
What to Expect
Before Your X-Ray:
- • No special preparation required for most X-ray exams
- • Wear comfortable clothing without metal fasteners if possible
- • Remove jewelry, glasses, and metal objects from the area being imaged
- • Inform staff if you're pregnant or might be pregnant
- • Bring your insurance card and photo ID
During Your X-Ray:
- • The exam typically takes 5-10 minutes
- • You'll be positioned by our experienced technologist
- • You may need to hold your breath briefly
- • Multiple views may be taken from different angles
- • The procedure is quick and painless
After Your X-Ray:
- • Return to normal activities immediately
- • No side effects or recovery time
- • Images reviewed by board-certified radiologist
- • Results sent to your physician within 24 hours
Radiation Safety
While X-rays do use radiation, the dose is very small and considered safe for most patients. Our digital equipment uses the lowest possible radiation doses while maintaining excellent image quality.
Our ACR-accredited technologists follow strict safety protocols to protect you and minimize exposure. Lead shielding is used to protect sensitive areas when appropriate.
